About the Beta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi
The director of bands thing came as a shock but I think people are just figuring out how to deal with it. I don't think it has set in on the implications of getting a new director for most of our members. We will not know what the music departments plans are until they have a meeting after spring break, from what I have gotten from the faculty they expect to be able to hire someone of her caliber. With the centennial going on, it will be a real test of where the chapter is along its path of development to pull it off in the year of a new director, but as of now, we still have big plans.
I think next year will also be a big opportunity for BINC to establish itself. The way the budget has been shrinking for the music department and the big amounts of money and manpower necessary to pull this off it will be a good chance for BINC to help out the active chapter, and when we find the appropriate place for your support, we will let you know.
