About the Beta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi
The Beta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi was installed at Montana State College of December 17, 1920. The Alpha Chapter of Oklahoma A&M (now Oklahoma State) was the installing chapter. Founding members of the Beta Chapter include Herbert D. Cashmore, Byron Rouse, Leonard J. Neuman, and John Wiley. From 1936 until 1951, the Beta Chapter experienced a period of inactivity, but has been going strong ever since. Beta Chapter has been celebrating its 80th birthday throughout the 2000-2001 academic year.
